Paul Freeth kindly asked me to collaborate with him and BaseMotion on their audio visual pieces for the huge international Zaragoza Water Expo 2008. The Expo focuses on global water crisis and the need for sustainable water practices. During the production I was responsible for the entire sound track from Sala A-E. BaseMotion was in charge of the Creative Direction and Design of the pieces. Paul Freeth was primarily involved in Sala C responsibilities included creative development, animation and post supervision
The Thirst pavilion consists of five rooms, with four audiovisual installations and one audio,
The impressive and ecologically efficient hemispherical bubble was designed by Enric Ruiz-Geli (Cloud 9) and the interior exhibit was production designed by Martin Azua.
Expo 2008 (International Expo) takes as its theme the natural resource most affected by climate change. Water and Sustainable Development kicked off on June 14 in Zaragoza, Spain. Encompassing more than 60 acres along the Ebro River, the expo is true to its theme—all of its facilities are powered by renewable energy sources.
