I worked on this remix a few years back, Piers approached me and told me Jive USA wanting to remix its back catalogue and would I be interested in mixing any of their artists! I couldn’t believe my luck, one group I had a strong liking for all my adult record collecting life was A Tribe Called Quest, So I asked them if we could do something from there catalogue, Jive was great  and offered us everything, we picked a track and was quickly sent over the dat to start the remix, and the rest is history
